2. Can the test be used at any stage of pregnancy?
The AmnioTest™ is intended for use in cases of suspected premature rupture of membranes, regardless of the stage of pregnancy. However, it must be used in an appropriate clinical setting and administered by a healthcare professional.
3. Is the test reliable in cases of vaginal infection?
In the case of a vaginal infection, the result may be less reliable, as certain infections can alter the vaginal pH and skew the test results.
The AmnioTest™ should therefore be interpreted with caution in this context and, if necessary, supplemented by other tests to confirm the diagnosis.
